ANPD and its preventive and orientative role

After more than one year of the General Data Protection Law, only in October 2021, was the regulation of the surveillance process and the sanctioning administrative proceedings approved within the National Data Protection Authority ("Regulation" ), published the next day through CD/ANPD Resolution No. 1, already in force.

ANPD's preventive and orientative performance during its supervisory activities is linked to its greater objective to promote the strengthening of data protection culture for civil society in general.
