Beer sales grow 8% in Brazil

According to a survey by the International Euromonitor for the National Beer Industry Union (Sindicerv), drinking sales in the country reached a volume of about 15.4 billion liters, up 8%.

Brazil is the third largest beer producer in the world. According to Sindicerv, the sector's production chain represents 2% of gross domestic product and generates more than 2 million direct, indirect and induced jobs, with a salary of R $ 27 billion.
