Unemployment rate retreats 7.8% in the quarter ended in August

Taxa de desemprego recua a 7,8% no trimestre encerrado em agosto, diz IBGE

The average unemployment rate in Brazil fell to 7.8% in the mobile quarter ended in August, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics said. The total unoccupied people were 8.4 million in the quarter ended last month, the smallest contingent since the mobile quarter ended in June 2015, when it was 8.5 million.
