Air sector should reach net income of $ 9.8 billion in 2023

Air sector profitability should be strengthened by 2023, with the industry reaching net income of US $ 9.8 billion and net profit margin of 1.2%.

Air industry operational profits, in turn, are expected to reach $ 22.4 billion by 2023, much better compared to the December forecast of an operating profit of $ 3.2 billion.

IATA estimates that about 4.35 billion people travel by 2023.
