Ranking points to Espírito Santo among the most attractive states to the opening of the gas market

The result of the research conducted over 2022 and early 2023 indicated Espírito Santo in the ranking of the most attractive to the opening of gas market. The announcement was made at the headquarters of the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum and Gas (IBP), in Rio de Janeiro.

The Gas Company of Espírito Santo is a mixed economy company, whose partners have the state government with 51% and vibrates energy with 49%. It is the concessionaire responsible for the distribution of piped natural gas in Espírito Santo and operates in the residential, commercial, industrial, automotive, climatization and cogeneration and thermoelectric segments, totaling more than 74,328 thousand consumer units.
