Vehicle production increases 5.4% by 2022

vehicle production grew 5.4% by 2022, reaching 2.37 million units, compared to 2.24 million produced in the same period of 2021. According to the figures released today (6) by the National Association of Motor vehicle manufacturers (Anfavea), in December the production was 191.5 thousand vehicles, registering a 9.2% drop compared to the same month of 2021 and 11.3% compared to November.

In December, the units sold reached 216.9 thousand, representing a 4.8% increase compared to December 2021 and 6.3% compared to November.

Exports were up 27.8% from January to December 2022, with 480.9 thousand units sold in the foreign market.
