GDP Capixaba grows +6.0% and totals R $ 186 billion in 2021

The Espírito Santo economy grew +6.0% in 2021, recovering the fall of -4.4% registered in 2020. The result was the largest since 2011. The data were presented by the Jones dos Santos Neves Institute (IJSN ). The good performance left the Holy Spirit above the national average, which was +4.8%.

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the state also stood out in the regional analysis, being first in the Southeast, ahead of Minas Gerais (+5.8%), São Paulo (+4.6%) and Rio January (+4.4%).

The sectors that most contributed to this advance were industry and services, which recorded growth rates of +4.2% and +5.5% respectively.
