Renewable energy generation in the country broke record in 2022

According to a survey by the Electricity Commercialization Chamber (CCEE), the country exceeded the 92% framework of participation of hydroelectric, wind, solar and biomass plants in the total generated by the National Interconnected System (SIN), the highest percentage of the last 10 years.

According to the study, the sources produced nearly 62,000 medium energy megawatts, a reflection of the most favorable climate water scenario, which contributed to the recovery of water reservoirs, and the expansion of wind and sun -powered plants. P>
