Espírito Santo breaks companies opening records in 2023

Espírito Santo broke record at the opening of companies in 2023. There were 20,532 new records, representing a 5.21% increase compared to 2022, which had 19,514 constitutional processes. The number is the largest achieved in the last ten years and is equivalent to an average of 57 companies open per day in the state. The activities that had the most open companies in the last year are the retail trade of clothing and accessories, which was first, with 7,569 new records; sales promotion, second, with 6,891; and Beverage retail trade, third, with 5,066.
