World Cup drives sales of TVs with larger and more technological screens

The Qatar World Cup began on November 20th and tradition repeats itself: consumers put into practice the desire to exchange television pans.


And this year, the search is for newer, modern models (with added technologies for a more immersive experience) and especially with larger screens. And the trade is cheered up. Projections of the National Confederation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC) estimate 8% growth in TV sales in this World Cup compared to the previous one.
