90% increase in book sales

Shopee recorded significant growth in book demand last year: searches tripled and sales increased 90% in comparison between the second quarter of 2024 and the same period of 2023 . br />* Business and investments (+150%); and
* School books (+140%). 

Other genres, such as classical literature (+140%), fantasy (+90%) and novels (+90%), also showed strong growth. According to the company, the data show the continuous interest of consumers on topics ranging from education to literature. />
